Normal Rockwell

Regardless of the drizzle of snow and freezing breeze, these peanuts were blast to work with. They had such great energy and I got lots of positive energy from them. Don't they look like they popped out from one of Normal Rockwell's book? They are just adorable. Thanks, Deb (mom) for letting me shoot your pumpkins!

Is this really what I'm thinking of?

Wow, it snowed today. I've been living in MN for 13 years, but I always have a hard time to remember how harsh the winter is here. I ask myself, "was it really cold last winter?? It wasn't that bad, was it?" It's creeping up sooner than usual this year....

"Tsuru"

Ms. Toko is non stop growing. She is not even 2 year old and she can say a bird crane in Japanese perfectly! I want to know how her brain is working.

I felt so much love from Toko's family!

Big Blue Eyes!

Matthew is 15 months old now. It's amazing how quickly kids grow. He is such a cute boy. I know Matthew since he is a month old and I feel so fortunate to be able to watch him grow!

Bright Sun Shine After All!

Teri and Eric got married on June 27th. It was stormy weather from the previous night, and it continued to be raining in the morning. Boy, Teri and Eric are a lucky couple, they got rain for a good luck and sunshine for the ceremony. Congratulations, Teri and Eric!

Bubbles and Hide'n Seek and Tricycles Oh My!

Abby and her grandma, Susan were so fun to work with. I played hide and seek, became a "monster" to catch Abby, being caught by a "monster-Abby", blew bubbles...etc. It felt just like home playing with my little one! Who said photographers can't be silly? That's the best way to capture great moments!

Do you feel some breeze?

It was close to 100 degrees today. The summer is finally here and it meant it. I was listening to the radio and they were playing Christmas songs to cool down listeners mind! I thought I would do something about it, too. Do these help you visually cool down? I hope so!

80's Prom!

Jen and her friends organized a funky fundraising event for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. It was a "Retro Prom"! People showed up with super funky suits with sneakers and prom dresses! There was a movie; "Breakfast Club" going on one side, and people playing old school Tetris and Super Mario on the other side. Great job planning this fun event and thanks for letting me participate on this!

Lots of Joy!

I had a session with Ms. Larkin and her mom; Amber.  At the beginning, Larkin was making a "pageant smile" that all the 3 year old learn from somewhere somehow.  (Don't take me wrong, they are cute as well).  I like to capture natural looks that make me smile though :) They were so cute and happy!

Rishan is 4 months old. He looks just like his mom. Although Rishan is not fond of changing clothes, he got to try 2 different clothes. Way to go, Rishan!

India: Part 1 (of 3): People

I was in New Delhi, India for 3 weeks in April. Before I landed India, my plan was to capture the difference between "the rich" and "the poor". Once I landed India, my plan changed. Yes, there were differences among people, yet people have their own lives with pride. I captured many glowing faces.
